Suite of Semantic and
AI Services
SAIP is designed for knowledge management, semantic modeling, cataloging semantic assets and linked data sets, as well as for AI-enabled user assistance through the application of artificial intelligence technologies.
The platform is based on a combination of knowledge management technologies, Semantic Web standards and artificial intelligence. It is intended for use in corporate, scientific and government information systems with the following requirements:
- accumulation, systematization and formalization of knowledge in the subject area
- ensuring conisstency of terminology, classifications and indicators
- semantic description of data and metadata
- support for interoperability and data reuse
- AI-enabled assistance for users and experts when working with knowledge and data
Three Core Services –
One flexible platform
Semantic KMS
Knowledge Management and Semantic Modeling Service (SKMS) provides the accumulation and effective use of an organization's knowledge. The uniqueness of the semantic KMS is the formalization of knowledge based on semantic methods and Semantic Web technologies. The representation and dissemination of knowledge formalized in the SKMS ensures accurate understanding of meanings (explicit and implicit knowledge) by humans, as well as their appropriate interpretation by information systems.
SA Catalog
Semantic Assets & Linked Data Catalog Service (SCS) supports cataloging and dissemination of reusable linked data sets and the models that describe them. The use of international standards such as ADMS and DCAT ensures the compatibility of catalogs and the implementation of the FAIR principles – (F) Findability, (A) Accessibility, (I) Interoperability, (R) Reuse. The service supports collaboration between IT specialists and domain experts in the creation and dissemination of semantic assets and the preparation of linked data sets.
Virtual AI Experts
AI Assistants Service (AIAS) provides AI-powered assistance to SAIP users. Grounded in formalized knowledge from SKMS, linked data, and semantic models describing them, AIAS delivers accurate and context-aware responses within the domain environment. It also enables the integration of virtual AI assistants into SKMS, enhancing user interaction with knowledge and data.
SAIP offers flexible service combinations tailored to your system architecture and objectives
Use Cases
SAIP is used in diverse environments, including the non-profit Interoperability Basis initiative and information systems in official statistics, to support knowledge management, strengthen semantic interoperability, enable AI-powered interaction with knowledge and data, while addressing technological and organizational barriers to the effective exchange and dissemination of linked data
More than just a tool, it is a comprehensive platform for the collaborative creation, evolution, and sharing of knowledge, where each participant contributes to a global semantic network of interoperable data, standards, and tools. The goal of the Interoperability Basis Platform is to integrate existing data exchange standards, classifications, and reference systems into the Semantic Web environment, enabling sustainable semantic interoperability across diverse users and use cases
As part of the Interoperability Basis Platform, the Semantic Assets Catalog supports the management and reuse of semantic assets across domains and information systems. It offers a structured environment for registering, classifying, versioning, and interlinking semantic assets, including metadata schemas and data models, ontologies and vocabularies, thesauri, taxonomies, code lists, and glossaries
Designed for official statistics, it supports the structuring and publication of institutional statistical knowledge using Semantic Web technologies. The Semantic Knowledge Management System creates a unified, machine-interpretable semantic environment for statistical knowledge by aligning methodological documents, terminology, and classifications based on expert collaboration and domain expertise
